Premises by use

  • Office rentals. Public transport access and parking for staff and clients are key. Ask about air conditioning, building security and the option to change the layout.
  • Retail and service premises. Assess street access, display windows and pedestrian traffic at different times of day.
  • Warehouse rentals. Check ceiling height and loading dock availability. Agree loading hours, winter heating and responsibility for maintaining doors and equipment in the lease.
  • Production premises. Check whether the electricity capacity is sufficient for your equipment.
  • Catering premises. Check ventilation and whether the registered use permits catering activities.

  • The rental term, rent indexation procedure and termination notice period.
  • Who pays to adapt the premises for your business and what must be restored when leaving.
  • Whether you can install signage on the facade and sublet part of the premises.

A long-term lease can be registered with the Centre of Registers. You can then rely on it in dealings with third parties, for example if the building is sold.
